What do the freed lions represent in the novel, All That’s Left in the World?

The lions represent the dangers that lurk in the world after the pandemic. Jamie and Andrew have no way of knowing why the lions were freed from their cages, but the animals now pose a serious threat to anyone in their home area. Henri is aware of the danger, but she does not realize that she is dealing with actual lions.
