Who was your least favourite and your favourite character and why?

This is really asking for your opinion rather than mine. Personally, I find Joe Keller frustrating. He is not a greedy, conniving caricature of capitalism, but rather a good-natured and loving man of little education, whose myopic perspective on his world stems from a devotion to his family and an education in a society that encourages generally antisocial behavior. He simply cannot see past his own individual world, ignoring his crime or anything outside his experience.
