The bleach disc Jenny is given to smell during her memory recollection therapy symbolizes inner cleaning. By inhaling the bleach smell, it enters her body and purifies the monster she feels growing within. The bleach disc brings back memories of her rapist, which symbolically shows that the bleach disc is killing the impurities that lie within Jenny.
