All-Night Pharmacy
What is the narrator's relationship with Sasha in the novel, All-Night Pharmacy?
.

.
Sasha is another of the novel's main characters. In Chapter 18, the narrator is working in the emergency room one night when Sasha suddenly appears before her at "the reception desk" (117). Sasha introduces herself and tells the narrator that she has been looking for her and has been sent to help her. Although Sasha's claims initially unsettle the narrator, she also trusts Sasha for reasons she cannot fully understand or explain. Sasha soon reveals that she is psychic and knows all of the narrator's “past lives and future incarnations” (119). Instead of dismissing Sasha, the narrator is in fact enamored with her. She loves Sasha's stories and is thrilled that she seems to want to be her friend.
Over the course of the following weeks and months, the narrator and Sasha become increasingly intimate. Although their relationship begins as friendship, they soon become lovers. The narrator's entanglement with Sasha is more empowering than any of her previous romances. However, she ultimately must break up with Sasha in order to establish her life on her own and to exact her personal desires.
