What are five important things, and why are they important?

1) Alice finds the key to the tiny door on a little table made of glass. She accidentally leaves the key on the table when she becomes tiny, so she is not able to reach it to unlock the door and enter the garden. Later in the story, when she finally manages to enter the garden, she does so by using this key.

2) The bottle labeled "DRINK ME", appears on the little glass table while Alice is trying to get through the tiny door. The bottle isn't marked 'Poison,' so she drinks its contents, which makes her shrink to a height of 10 inches.

3) The Caterpillar's seat: The Caterpillar instructs Alice that eating one side of the mushroom will make her larger and that the other will make her smaller. Alice grabs a handful from each side, and throughout the rest of her adventures, whenever she wants to grow or shrink to a particular size, she nibbles at the appropriate handful of mushroom.

4) The mad Hatter's pocket-watch tells the day of the month. It runs two days behind, even though the March Hare tried to fix it with butter. The Hatter explains that Time controls all clocks, and because he and Time quarreled, in the Hatter's world it is always tea-time.

5) The letter presented as evidence in the trial of the Knave isn't addressed to anyone, is not in the Knave's handwriting, and is actually a set of nonsense verses. The King and Queen of Hearts believe that the Knave is guilty based upon this evidence.
