Why is Einstein asked not to return to the Luitpold Gymnasium?

The teacher at Einstein's school says that he somehow encourages the other students to lose respect for their teachers. This loss of respect is presumably due to Einstein's habit of asking questions to which his teachers do not know the answers, thus making them look bad in front of the class.
