Explain why the author calls Einstein a false prophet at the beginning of Chapter Eight.

Einstein finds himself suddenly world famous, which means that every newspaper in the world wants an interview with him. He thinks that the whole mess blows over in a few months and that common people forget what all the fuss is about in the first place; this is not what happens. Einstein remains relatively famous for the rest of his life.
