Einstein believes that scientists should be citizens of the world. The business of war and conflict, he feels, is the realm of politicians and statesmen; a scientist should be open minded and seek truth in whatever country it can be found. While certainly a patriotic German, Einstein never suggests that only Germans can be great thinkers.
