Albert Einstein

Einstein brings national attention to Germany, so it seems logical that Hitler celebrates Einstein's success. This is not the case. Why?

Hitler thinks Einstein is guilty of three crimes: pacifism, internationalism, and Judaism. Hitler wants German citizens fired up, hyper-patriotic, and ready for war; Einstein's peaceful attitude toward other countries and his willingness to cooperate with them must be a thorn in the dictator's side. In addition, Einstein is inconveniently Jewish. Hitler does not give honor to a Jew, no matter how outstanding.
