Al Franken, Giant of the Senate
What was TeamFranken as noted in the nonfiction book, Al Franken, Giant of the Senate?
.

.
In what began as a "ragtag gang of goofballs who'd helped research Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them," Franken's group of young, enthusiastic aides, otherwise known as "TeamFranken", grew alongside the Senator in their ability to master the political arena and tame his large personality (76). At the beginning, "what they lacked in experience, they made up for in youthful enthusiasm and general whip-smartness" (78). Those like Andy Barr, Jess McIntosh, Stephanie Schriock, and Drew Littman among many others enjoy frequent mentions and praise throughout the text, as Franken's appreciation for his staff is evident. He even jests at a piece of selfless advice given to him by Drew Littman, "never give the staff credit," by dedicating an entire chapter to the work of his staff (212).
