Who is Yasmeen as noted in the memoir, Aftershocks?

Yasmeen is Nadia's younger sister. Just after Yasmeen was born, Almas left the family, and started another family with another man. The sisters' shared distress brought them closer. They particularly relied on each other after their father died.

Years later, Nadia tried supporting Yasmeen when she dropped out of school. In retrospect, Nadia sees her attempts to mother her sister as unsatisfactory.
