External or internal conflict and why?

The external conflict is Jeffrey's internal battle to perform well academically after falling behind because of his cancer treatments. Jeffrey is a cancer survivor.

Tad, on the other hand, struggles with the effect that cancer treatments have had on him physically..... leaving him bound to a wheelchair.
