What happened to Miss Prior's two diaries in the novel, Affinity?

Miss Prior kept two diaries during her life. The first chronicled her affair with Helen, and Miss Prior burned this diary before attempting suicide upon Helen's marriage to her brother, Stephen. The second diary chronicled Miss Prior's relationship with Selina Dawes. This diary was also burned when Miss Prior learns of Selina's betrayal.
