The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn Why is it so easy for the King and Duke to fool the Wilkes sisters and the townspeople? Asked by bookragstutor 13 years ago 11/28/2012 8:47 AM Last updated by anonymous 12 years ago 1/15/2013 8:04 PM
The King and the Duke, in Huckleberry Finn, are able to fool everyone in town because of pride. No one wants to admit to having been conned so outrageously, so they go out of the tent ranting and raving about how amazing it is.
