April works on the 767 plane sequence in her Dream with no luck as to unraveling any further clues to finish the entire sequence, but after a month has passed, Robin tells her that a Defender solved it. Miranda does not realize that the piece of code has been tampered with, so when the supposedly finished code reveals an address in New Jersey and the request that April go by herself, April believes that the Carls want to talk to her personally. She heads to the address alone against the advice of her friends and arrives at a large abandoned warehouse. She sees a pile of clothes at the entrance covered in grape jelly and believes that the Carls used force when someone other than April tried to enter. Once inside, however, the message is confirmed to be a hoax and she realizes that she has been kidnapped by a Defender. The building is set on fire and before the fire department can arrive, the fire is too thick and April is trapped inside the building. She is believed dead, but her body is never found.
