Jennifer Putnam is an entertainment agent who meets with April and Andy via Andy’s rich father with illustrious connections. Initially, she promises April anything she wants, and April becomes fueled by her recently discovered love for power. Putnam also advises April that rather than tell the world she is bisexual, it would be better to say that she is either straight or gay in order to protect her image and eliminate potential confusion from the public. After an interview with her nemesis, Peter Petrawicki, in which he publicizes the fib on her sexuality, April learns that sleazy Putnam is also Petrawicki’s agent and that she was set up for failure to gain views.
