Who is Jack Michaely from About Face?

Jack Michaely was the company commander of G Company, in which Hackworth served during his time in the Army. His personal experiences in WWII made him a great commander for his men. He was calm, cool, and collect, never showing emotion.... never coloring his men's emotions.
