"The Diane Irregulars" was the name given to a group of French Resistance fighters led by Virginia, who was operating under the code name "Diane" at the time. The group was given a specific mission to sabotage the Germans, and were eager to bring their detailed plans to fruition; the end of the war, however, led to the canceling of the mission and to the dispersal of the team. It was Virginia's first, and only, official command.
