Where does Thorn work in the novel, A Winter’s Promise?

The Treasury is where Thorn works in the Pole. Ophelia visits Thorn several times in his office by traveling through a mirror into his wardrobe using her powers. They speak confidentially about the plotting that they have witnessed during their time apart in the Pole. This is also where Ophelia realizes that Thorn may have fallen in love with her.
