How are the twelve jurors and two alternates sequestered?

The twelve jurors and two alternates are sequestered under guard at the Temple Inn. This motel, otherwise abandoned, is some forty-eight miles from Clanton. While the two alternates room separately, the remaining jurors room in same-sex pairs. They are bused between the inn and court.
