In Chapter 22, Brystal is at first disappointed that more students have not shown up to enroll in the magic academy now that magic is no longer outlawed. But at the very end of the chapter more and more waves of people begin showing up to enroll, so she feels wonderful about the prospects of the magic academy's future and about the future of magic itself.
