Why was Olive at the Center?

Olive was at the Center because at her last gynecological checkup there, Harriet told her to see an oncologist. Olive did not understand the information the oncologist gave her, and she wanted a friendly face to tell her the news. So she went back to the clinic to have Harriet give her a translation. Harriet told Olive that she had cervical cancer, and then gave her a warm hug. That was why Olive came to the Center, so she did not have to face the news alone.
