Why did Vonita create the Center?

Vonita had an abortion performed by a woman who worked out of her garage 40 years ago. She knew that although abortion had been legalized, there were still women who needed a safe place to get an abortion. So she felt that it was her personal calling to create a place where a woman could get a safe abortion and be supported and not judged.
