What do we learn about Félicité's eating habits and what do they tell us about her character?

We learn that Félicité makes one loaf of bread last for nearly two weeks. When she eats, she is careful not to waste a crumb and she eats slowly and carefully. This tells us that she is very frugal and unwilling to waste things. It seems like she would be a very good person to have as a servant because she wouldn't waste anything that might lose money for her employer.
