There are many conflicts:
Man vs Man ....family members versus family member on what to do with the money, the neighbors vs the Younger family.
Man vs self....many characters face tough internal questions and choices
The largest conflict was that of being black in America and wealthy and having to make tough decisions that threaten cultural identity and pride.
