How does Lorraine Hansberry use imagery in A Raisin in the Sun?

A lot of imagery has to do with the Younger's poverty. Their cramped and barren apartment with threadbare furniture reinforces the need for the insurance money. The imagery of racial inequality is also illustrated throughout the play.
