how do get to meet one of my friend that i did not meet before

so i want to know how do i meet someone i never seen before and i know there name but i just don't know what they look like becuase we met of the intnned and we never seen each other before so i'm really scared to meet them in real life and i think that i'm going to get laught at becuse how i look and how i talk but i don't want that i just want to be friends with soeone but people think i'm that type of person but i'm not and my other friends is telling me just go meet them and see how you like it but i'm just scared that he not going to like me as a friend so that's why i'm writing to ya'll because i need your help thank you from:Nikerra TO:ya'll
