Describe symbolism in A Passage to India by E. M. Forster

The Marabar Caves represent a place alien to both Indians and the British. In an odd way, they act as a communion of sorts for both Dr. Aziz as well as Mrs. Moore and Adela. They confront parts of themselves that are not under the power of colonialism or racial bias.
