Where did the King and Queen of England go and what did the King make clear?

The King and Queen of England visited the United States the summer before the beginning of the war, Roosevelt promised he Untied States would come to England's aid if England was attacked. King George V makes it clear he will not leave England if the Germans invade and will not collaborate with any German puppet government.
