Stevenson's attention turned to Latin America and the aid it was providing to the Nazis. Brazil was being used as the base for operations against the United States. Stevenson's intelligence agency decides to discredit some of the people involved by planting forged letters and documents implicating them in a plot against President Vargas, President of Brazil. The operation was successful.
