The theme to A Knight of the Word by Terry Brooks is the central theme of Good Verse Evil. The theme is made apparent right form the start, there are two factions fighting against eachother. One side, evil, is the Void. The other side, Good, is The Word. The void commands demonic creatures as the Word controls seraphic creatures. Each side wants to eradicate the other.
