A Grain of Wheat What are the motifs in A Grain of Wheat by Ngugi wa Thiong'o? Asked by bookragstutor on 20 Aug 04:35 Last updated by Jill W on 29 Apr 14:22
One major motif in the text is that of rain. It is raining or drizzling throughout most of the text, and the rain itself can represent both good..... a sense of purification, or evil.... harm and subversion.
