In "Chapter 6," what things does Gikonyo confess to Mugo?

Gikonyo meets with Mugo to talk about their time in detention. Gikonyo admits to taking the rebel's oath, hoping his captors would let him go home. He also says that even though he missed his wife greatly, she had changed when he got home.
