Why would people rather have an approachable teacher than an unapproachable one?

Students often prefer approachable teachers because they are seen as more sensitive to the students' needs, easier to talk to, and go out of their way to make their students feel comfortable.

In my opinion, it’s better to have an approachable teacher because it’s easier to ask questions, ask for help, and not be afraid of making mistakes. Such a teacher creates a comfortable atmosphere, supports and motivates you to learn, while an unapproachable one can be intimidating and push students away from learning.
