Why does Alex blame F. Alexander and his friends?

Alex thinks that the men inside the house put the music on intentionally so that he would jump. Alex's suicide would aid their cause considerably, giving weight to their challenge to the government. When they come around his bed, Alex tries to curse them, but he cannot speak yet due to his injuries.
