Shireen Baratheon from A Clash of Kings is the young daughter of Stannis Baratheon and Queen Selyse. She had a childhood ailment called greyscale that left part of the skin on her face and hands dead and scaled like a reptiles. Her mother keeps her hidden in the castle and in a tower most of the time. Stannis adores his daughter and visits her often. She loves to read, but because of her isolation from others is very innocent. Later, she makes very good friends with Davos Seaworth.
