Ser Loras Tyrell from A Clash of Kings is a knnight that serves under Renly. Loras and Renly are 'very' close in a way that the church would not approve of. When Loras learns of Renly's death he kills two of the knights in Renly's tent for failing to protect him. He is the knight who at a joust gave Sansa a rose. She had hoped to one day be married to him, but it does not play out that way.
