Renly Baratheon from A Clash of Kings is the youngest brother to Robert and Stannis Baratheon. He also has a claim to the throne, but does not believe that his brother, Stannis should have the throne. He believes that his brother has stayed too long out of politics and is not fit to rule anything. Renly is charasmatic and has more soliders at his disposal than Stannis. The night before his battle with Stannis he is killed in his own tent in front of Catelyn Stark, Brienne Tarth, and a couple other knights.
