A Christmas Carol
A Christmas Carol
Why did Scrooge sob at his old school?
Why did Scrooge sob at his old school?
Scrooge sobbed when the ghost reminded him there was a solitary boy left at school for the holidays.... someone who hadn't gone home. That child was Scrooge.
“The school is not quite deserted,” said the Ghost. “A solitary child, neglected by his friends, is left there still.”
Scrooge said he knew it. And he sobbed.
