John pays a visit to Dr. Fritz Werner at his office to learn more about Karen. Fritz says that Karen was mean and disturbed. He did not want to take her on as a patient. He explains that the death of her mother and the departure of J.D.'s mistress had negative effects on Karen because she was close with both women. Fritz reveals that Peter Randall had performed two abortions on Karen in the past. He also says that Art Lee had performed an abortion on Ev Randall.
