Where did Alice grow up in the novel, A Map of the World?

Alice grew up in Chicago, Illinois. Much later, after being acquitted of child molestation charges, Alice and her family move to Chicago, where her husband Howard gets a job in the zoo, her children attend private school, and they live within sight of Wrigley Field.
