What is the result of Kinsey's last trip to L.A.?

In Los Angeles, Kinsey gets a message that Gwen Fife was killed by a hit-and-run driver. Kinsey goes to talk to Lyle and gets him to confess that he gave Libby a tranquilizer, but only because she was upset about Laurence's death. When he returned to her, she was dead, and he wiped the area clean of fingerprints and took the medication, fearing he would be charged with her murder. Lyle breaks down and Kinsey now is left with one suspect: Charlie.
