After meeting with Garry Steinberg, Kinsey goes back to the Glass residence where only Mrs. Glass is waiting for her. What happens when they go down to the basement to get Libby's things?

When Mrs. Glass and Kinsey go down the steps into the Glasses' basement, they hear an explosion and the lights go out. Grace falls on top of Kinsey, and by the time Kinsey gets up and goes outside, whoever had been in the basement is gone. Kinsey is sure she heard the noise of someone leaving the basement. Kinsey suggests to Grace that it was Lyle, but she refuses to believe it.
